Join us at Fort Nisqually for an evening filled with Northwest cuisine, drinks, entertainment, and Victorian finery.
“Dine we must, and we may as well dine elegantly…,” a direct quote from Isabella Beeton, an influential British author, columnist, and chef of her time (b. 1836; d. 1865). Dine We Must farm-to-table dinner is a whimsical night full of culinary delights. As you visit and explore the Fort’s historic buildings, enjoy appetizers, and a cash bar supporting the Fort Nisqually Foundation. Sip a beverage, try your hand at 1850s-themed crafts, partake in a game, and take a few photos before transitioning to dinner, music, and a few evening surprises. The dinner will conclude with a sampling of desserts baked in our period kitchen, cooked by our wonderfully talented volunteers.
Dress is upscale PNW to cocktail attire. Living history clothing always welcome here at the Fort. Please note that this is an outdoor dinner and our dining area and pathways have uneven surfaces of grass and gravel. Please dress for the weather and walking on uneven surfaces.
